I am trying to pick a new bass but I am stuck between three those being a music man stingray, a rickenbacker 4003 and a made in Japan fender jazz bass. Can I please have some advice and help?

What do you mean?Okay, as you already own a Jazz Bass. What are you missing?
I like the sound of rickenbackers the only thing is I have only had the chance to play with the pickup cover on and it really gets in the wayi say rick, ive only played one once, i liked the feel and sound. but yeah, like
G-O-T 59, asked, what type music ?
cover was off the one i played, that big metal ring was there, it messed with me a bit.I like the sound of rickenbackers the only thing is I have only had the chance to play with the pickup cover on and it really gets in the way
i like the way you put that.Well... both the Ric and the MM are needed. As always play first, if possible. I like new MM’s better than the old ones. I think they’ve done a good job with them. I also feel they are a bit more versatile than the Ric, but both for sure— eventually. I like Jazz Basses too, but it would seem you’ve got that covered so, skip that one.

"they both are needed"
Its a necessity, no really.
