    I've been playing on an ibanez atk for a while, and was considering getting a short scale bass, but to be honest this chunkier neck is just killing me. I love the sound of a p-bass infinitely more than the jazz, but I want that neck

    I was thinking about doing that, but eh I dunno. I'd probably just buy a squier VM or whatever it was called if I go that route. If I just roll the bridge pick up off, does it have that p-bass sound or would it be different from just a plain p bass?

    If I buy their precision bass...can I buy a jazz neck from somewhere and put it on there? I REALLY like the feel of a jazz neck but I don't like the actual j bass sound :(

    I'm willing to try just about anything haha I do want to find that bass really bad though. I found one on ebay today, but the finish is horrendous, I wouldn't mind a putting my own finish on it though

    the rusty box is like $200, and thanks for the suggestion for motorheadbanger ill try that out tomorrow at band practice, I'm gonna buy the pedal soon. I really do want to try the danelectro bass though, but I dont want to spend twice as much for one
