Cool set-up. I got one for each side of the stage. That is eight moon flowers. I put a couple on the wall behind the band and the rest on the dance floor. I think it adds alot. The 4 bar tri is very bright. some complain but, they certainly change the stage.I like em! Sorry drummer dude. :D

If you have an ohm meter, measure the resistance of the speaker. if the voice coil is "open" you will measure infinite resistance. if it somewhere between 3- 10 ohms, it's not "Open".

I just replaced 2 Neo 12" for ceramic. While neo's may sound the same while lighter they do not have the same power handling characteristics. 2 12" Neos 250Watts each, 500 watt cabinet. 2 Ceramic 12" 500 watts each, 1000 watt cab. I should have bought ceramic first and saved $225.

I have mounted a Fender thumbrest (2 screws) on my Jazz. Screwed it to the pickguard. I usually replace the pickguard and If I want to go back stock, I can just put the old pickguard back on with no thumbrest or holes.

It makes so much power, volume has never seen 12 o'clock yet. This boy rocks. It also has the smooth Ampeg tube sound that you can dial in to whatever you desire. I like the Ultra low button. Don't use it alot but, it gets LLLOOOWWW! Yeah, it's made in Viet Nam but, I like it!

Are both your cabinets 4 ohm or Both 8 ohm=4 ohm total? SVT-6 Pro is not rated for (2) 4 ohm cabinets = 2 ohms It wasn't clear from your post.

I had a problem in the beginning with a 410 8 ohm. One speaker was "open". It left the cabinet with 2 speakers that totaled 16 ohm. Paired with an 8 ohm 212. The difference in impedance caused twice as much current through the 212 and blew a 12" speaker in it as well. Called Avatar up. they sent...
