Are they Lightweight ? I've got a Warmoth neck with steel rods. seriously looking to keep the weight down.

weight? Does this Neck Have Graphite Rods in it?

Only time will tell.. Carvins are love it or leave it type of instuments. I bought mine to play. Not to sell or trade. I personally think they're excellent instruments. I sure hope the PB4 sticks around for a while. I would love to pull the trigger on one of those in the near future.

Tough call. I have a SB4001 Carvin and I love it. Great neck profile. That being said, the LB-100 looks and sounds great as well. IMHO: Alot of guys that hire will feel more confortable with the more traditional looking LB-100. Either way, you can't lose.

I have the SB4001 and I plan on keeping it. It's one of my main basses. the bass hangs perfectly on the upper horn. Sad to see it go. Whis I had another. Will the re-sale value go up down? What's your opinion?

Hi all, I am looking for a magnetic pickup that DOES NOT attach to the end of the fingerboard. I have an Upton bass that has a teardrop design on the end of the fingerboard......It won't accomidate a standard magnetic. I've looked online.. can't find any magnetics that attach elsewhere on...

i Ordered a Lenzner G from Gollihur. Ilet you know how it turns out.

I have velvet blues on my bass. Very nice but I am not crazy about the G string. Do gut strings have less tension than steel or rope core strings? In need of a G string.. Possibly D string as well..
