HA. Figured out this damned contraption. Here are the pictures.

The old stuff was just awful the old bridge was built around the idea of terrible. Couldn't adjust it at all. Just a bad idea. Im about to upload some pictures now.

Anything by tech 21 will be great for overdrive/distortion/preamp my favorite by them is the tri ac but like i said its all great.

I use passive basses and use my eq pedal to enhance the basses tone and boost the signal before my fuzz and overdrive pedals to add more grit so its first in my chain. But to repeat what everyone else has been saying its all about your taste. Try both and see what you like.
