I have been asking about and cant get a straight answer. Im looking to replace the stock pickups on a Warwick Corvette $$ 4 string with a set of emg mmtw's. Can i do this without changing the electronics, or will i need a whole new setup as well? Any advice would b great!

I am currently too broke to afford a tube amp, but i want to get the dirty sound of a tube amp eg an Orange AD200b or an Ampeg SVT. Is there anyway to replicate this without having to fork out the £1k+ for one of these? At least until i can afford it. My current gear set-up is a Corvette $$ 4...
