Hey all i was hoping someone could help me with a problem i'm having with the replacement pickups i have in my ricky.
Iv got a set of Seymour Duncan SRB's, and the bridge pickup is fine, but the neck pickup doesn't seem to be working right. The a, d and g strings sound fine, but when i play the e string it is a lot quieter, but it doesn't seem to be all the time. It seems to be almost full volume on a down stroke, but on an up stroke its nearly silent, and when i play with my fingers it's very quiet as well.
The wiring has been checked and im 99% confident it is ok. I have tried adjusting the height, tone and volume controls and even the set up on my amp but no joy. Could the pickup be faulty?
