Mine is backup for my main tour head which is an mpulse 600 mesa. I've never found a better head than the mesa.

If the 10" is grey in colour its apparently an Eden one. Mine is grey gut has no branding on the back. My 10" speaker moves loads too! I think the cross-over is not working or maybe it needs uprating as it must be 15+years old. It suffers on gigs with my mpulse 600 kicking its arse. On tonights...

Does anyone have any advice for me regarding replacing my Mesa Diesel 1516be speakers? It has an 8ohm evm15L 15"woofer(sounds great but can't take too much when in full range mode), 1x16ohm 10" Eden(as I beleive was specced in this model, farts easily way before the woofer starts complaning)...

Try an Mpulse 600, I have one and it sounds good, but it has broke down 4 times in 2 months, tubes and a capacitor had to be replaced. I do think that I'm just unlucky tho, not heard a better amp through my 1516be. However, when I plug it into my 8ohm 15" only it sounds better, does anyone know...

Well, I'm very surprised. I put a new set of Russian preamp valves in my Mesa and its back to life!! Hopefully it will keep going now. By the way, does anyone know why my mesa diesel 1516be cab sounds much better when I just plug the amp into the bottom half(ie the 15" 8ohm EV on its own), but...

My first amp-Carlsbro 65watt combo, bought for £89 in 1995. I then bought a 1978 Peavey Century 200 head and 15" cab for £100 which I still have. In 1999 I bought a Deltabass 600 head with a 15"cab and 2x8"+horn cab, again I still have that too, its powerful but too much to roadie everywhere...

Hey, just got the amp fixed, it was cap60 on the pcb. It was noy soldered correctly so that was the problem, now the footswith is not working, well actually the fx button, it keeps switching on and off. Apart from that its the best sounding thing I've played, just hope it survives my 150 gigs in...

Thanks guys will try the jack thing tomorrow. I tried 2 basses 4 cabs and 2 cables and 3 power cables as well as the 2 new tubes. Mine is a pre 07 model with the 4 button switch.
