Question to any Mesa 1516 owners

Hello. I just bought a 1516 and another Mesa cab - 18'. I picked 'em up today, but I noticed that the 10' speaker has been unscrewed. So I've opened it, looked at the 10' and started thinking how to check if it is still the original speaker, or it has been replaced with something else?
So can someone tell me how the 10' looks like, or take a picture of the back of the speaker? Mine is without any sticker, or stamp, or anything. Just the magnet. Its really heavy though. Seems like serious stuff :) .

My other question is if anyone has tryed this cab with a Groove Tubes Studio preamp and a Carver M1.5T power amp, becouse I can get the preamp here for $200 and the power amp for about $300, but I can check the combination only after I buy 'em and that just might be too late...

As I saw today, the cab is 1516be. I have red some of the old posts, so it should be with EV. How can I see if mine is EV? I opened it again today and it has only a number stamped on the back. I've noticed that my 10' is moving more than the 6s and the 15', as I play loud.

Thanks to both of You. I will open it again tomorrow and check again, I closed it today, because I was checking how it sounds. I ran my stingray5 through an Yamaha PB1 and a crown XLS402 power amp. The cabs sounded incredible, but I will wait a bit more to check it with the GT preamp and a Warwick WPA6500 power amp to see the difference.

If the 10" is grey in colour its apparently an Eden one. Mine is grey gut has no branding on the back. My 10" speaker moves loads too! I think the cross-over is not working or maybe it needs uprating as it must be 15+years old. It suffers on gigs with my mpulse 600 kicking its arse. On tonights gig I will be bi-amping both sections as it sounds way better with 2x 600w amps running at 8ohms into the 2 seperate 8 ohm inputs. Still not sure why that is??!?
Anyway, I'm gonna buy new speakers before I'm too tempted to buy powerhouse 2x10 and 15" cabs. Just not sure what to go for.
