I used Line6 Relay G55 which is awesome but for it's size which is half a rack. It covers wide range of the frequencies and I don't hear any tone dampening.

The sound is way smaller than normal slap/pop sound so maybe I'll be fine. And I was doing some research with the schematics, and I think it actually don't have the relay that shutting off the signal to the cabinet. And of course same thing on power on, it almost immediately makes sound as soon...

Gotoh VTB-4 also has 5 bolt 17.5mm spacings. And I think it has more vintage aesthetics than 203B-4. I chose 203B as I was planning to pair with GB707 machine heads which looks more modern, if I was not changing the machines, I might have chosen VTB.

It's very sick. But the pole pieces are flat and cannot be adjusted with height so the E and G strings sound bigger than others.

203B-4 with extra two more pilot holes made. It took me 2 hours to drill through the 40yo dry wood and finish without making any single crack. I did not need to, as it could be mounted with just 5 bolts in 17.5mm spacing, but I wanted it to have full contact so I did it.

Got two BBs from 1985, Japan BB V jazz bass with hardwares replaced to Gotoh machines and bridge which is actually very cool and BB VIII dual crooked P bass 1-year production super rare model with fully original hardwares that is unbelievably clean closet queen. Both bolt-on with maple neck...

Thanks a lot! That makes me feel much better. As I have never experienced that with other amps I played with, I think I was worried too much.

I got small combo amp called PJB Briefcase, and whenever I turn it off it makes a popping noise like 'PZZzz..', even if I turn the volume all the way down before turning it off. And actually I can see the cones are shrinking inwards when it is making that noise. Is it serious problem? Is it...
