You must have a decent mp3 player, as well as the advice of the previous TB posters. I tell my students to equalize their amp volume with the mp3 volume and take it from there. It helped me in the 70's using bulky old school headphones, and it helps develop your timing and pitch among other things.

I didn't double check but a few bass players use the higher output vintage Music Man amps like the HD130, and I didn't see it listed.

Even when dealing with warranty products Loud Technologies wants to know much info about the amp before they cover it. I had problems when I told them I wasn't the original owner of the unit (SVT-4 Pro). Just an FYI.

Just picked up an Acoustic 136 combo and I use it in conjuction with a 301 for bottom. Use the cab only as an extension. Yes it does run at 2 ohms. Advice: Go out and get one.
