I know Steve Cropper told me about this, but don't remember specifically about the riff. He did say that they joked with each other about "stealing" each others' riffs, rather than sue each other. He said Stevie Wonder would do similar ball busting with those guys.

I'm always reluctant with those short "A" style stands. They're compact but they feel a bit precarious. But I'm guessing this is probably the best gigging guitar stand.

So, since I've been procrastinating in buying a new stand, I stopped by an AutoZone on my way to a gig, and bought a hose clamp with a wingnut screw. It's working way better than it has any right to. A $1 part was the fix for that stand, and I can't believe it.
