Hey everyone,
Not to open a whole can of worms, but I work as a musician at a church. We as a band are ready to renegotiate pay, and it would be really helpful to see what other musicians are getting these days. We're trying to be as informed as possible and be respectful of the church at the same time, and haven't had a raise in nearly a decade.
The survey is totally anonymous, and once I get a sizeable sample size, I'll be sharing the results. You might be more comfortable signing out of Google before the survey, but I won't get that information either way.
Please share with other musicians, especially ones you know who work at a church! I really want a large sample size.
Also, I'm sure the mods would appreciate only respectful conversation. Talking about pay at a church as a musician always seems to be an unevenly touchy subject with people. I'm not wanting to start drama, I'm just trying to improve myself and my colleagues' situation as professionally as I can.
