I appreciate this. There's nothing I play on the E string with the Octave on, because of the boominess. Anything lower than a B is impossibly loud so I try to avoid it anyway.

That's good. One other thing, because I don't kbow much about the different ways of connection. If I connected the terror to a cab speakon to speakon, is there a difference in output to if I connect it speakon to 1/4? Say, a much louder output that could damage the speaker or amp? I would want...

update: I'm now also looking at an orange tb500. Found one for 695, considering buying it and running it through an ampeg 410. The terror output is speakon apparently. Is that ever a problem with cabs that only have 1/4 jacks? Can you get cables with 1/4 one end, speaker on the other?

Well those are two obvious recurring pieces of equipment. I'm talking effects as well. Not every bass player uses them, but plenty do, that's where I want to see if there is any similarity.
