Thanks for the reply. I'm on the buddies for sale in the UK. The fretless is a beauty. I assume your fretboard was and is ebony. How did that work out. What is the tonal quality of a fretted bass with an ebony board? Who did you fret work?

i never hear anyone around here talk about mesa/boogie cabs or amps. are they sub-par? justin chancellor from tool uses them and i love his tone. i am looking to get a new cab soon and the powerhouse 1000 with 1 15 and 4 10's looked nice but i have never heard it. any feedback on this brand?

im lokking to buy some new stuff and i want to get the best deal i possibly can. I have been to a few sites on the net but im sure there are many i have never heard of so if you can just complile a list of any and all sites that sale new and used equipment etc. that would be great.
