Mike Lull did mine, it's great and plays just like my other fretteds. I have four with ebony boards and the same consistency is there. I'd happily do it again if needed, but his rates are beyond extreme I won't go to him again. but as they say, YMMV.

It sold in 4 days, but the shedua MkI that was just over on basschat is an incredibly beautiful looker.

MkI still on ebay, look like he will ship if serious: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mark-1-Wa...al_Instruments_Guitars_CV&hash=item4ae1c7c3ae

Jesus those are beautiful. Can't convince you to let go of one of those fretteds can I?

depends....how deep are your pockets?!?!? :roflmao:

Seriously though, I am not looking too, nor can be convinced in off'ing any of them at this present time....even if I did, it's s pretty lengthy line.

stay tuned for episode II.......

First: The one in the middle is totally killer. Love that top. (is that the "doorstep" wal?)

Second (and off topic): Nice Mesa 2x12 cab... which one is it? Rectifier (Compact)? Road King? I'm currently looking to find a cab to match my '93 Dual Rectifier for recording purposes.

Thanks Oli!! yes, the middle one may be the lost sibling of the door step Wals. Registry lists two in existence (88', W3059 + W3062), both were on Bassdirect at some point.....

both current owners are actually part of the FB: WBOOTWU group. Mine is an 89' W3282, which was originally fretless, figuring on it's older two brothers are almost identical - i haven't gotten a chance to check in with Paul to confirm but judging by the figuring and being within a year of build dates, i'd say it's pretty conclusive. i got an extra fretted ebony neck on her right now, but she is originally a fretless Wal.

as far as the Mesa 2x12 it's a regular Rectofier Horizontal Cab...i think the compacts have a different Mesa emblem on them. Sounds great with my mini Rec 25
