What would be a good replacement for pre amp tube in an Ampeg SVT 7 Pro? When I look online they are $20 - $180. So many variations of a 12AX7. I would like to keep the original Ampeg tone, so I am not sure if different tubes change the tone of the pre amp? I have not pulled the old tube out yet...

Both sound killer to me. Darkglass sounds a little bit better. I have a Sansamp RBI and it dont sound that good.
