Installed new allparts jack......made sure its connected to the right lugs... i unhook one side of the battery and check the milliamps and it pegs the meter.....something else is up....lets see if they last a week

Just came to the conclusion, the old amazon import barrel jack is crap! Thanks !

I recently decided to "upgrade" an old Tobias basic5, I used the stock barts and installed the EMG preamp... set it up 18v and it sounded like heaven..played a gig..played a marathon rehersal..about 9 hours plugged in....at the next show dead battery...I thought I had decent battery life...

lol that's what i got, a really loud 4 ohm cab, after posting this thread we had an outside sound gig, in which i played the first set using my amp, the next band came up with a markbass 12 combo and 18" hartke extension speaker......we were scrambling to get him in the mix, the band after them...

I have had my bass block 880 for a couple of months, l love the tone control and the overall performance, the lack of control on the line out is a bit aggravating, i believe ill be selling that one soon! I like the setup here

this is my first 2x12.....It would be safe to say i would be a happy fella with 2 of them ! never thought about that! would the wattage need to be exact?

I recently purchased a quilter bass block 800, I currently use a 2x12-6.5+ horn 4ohm 1000w made by the evil DR sero I picked up used...I love the tone and durability of this cab! I would like to add a 15" cabinet to that for outside venues.but I am lost to what ohm rating or watts i would...
