Thanks, but the fender pickguard has a cutout for their asymmetrical p5 pickups - won't do for what i need.

I printed out the jazz 4 pickguard and the jazz deluxe 5 pickguard. They're not even close, the deluxe 5 is actually a lot smaller than the 4....

Ok so that clears it up a little. They just shot me down with no explanation when i asked about a top route p5. What difference in dimensions are there between the p5 and p4 bodies other than the neck pocket width?

Last gasp bump for this thread....

That's the direction I'm heading in now. I'm fine with the rear route, i just want to put a pickguard and some chrome covers on there for a vintage vibe. I just can't figure out why the top route and pickguard aren't options for their p5. Would all the dimensions other than the neck pocket be...

A little of topic here, but people on this thread seem pretty knowledgeable: I want to do a classic looking p5 but warmoth only offers the p5 in a rear route; also no pickguard is available for that body. What gives?

I was curious about this too. They look cool. I saw that USACG is offering roasted maple as well. Is it just a tint or do they do something like scorch the wood with a flame?
