Les designed the bass with the help of one of his luthier friends ... he apparently wanted something that used nice tonewoods, but was a little more straight forward than his CT's .... i was there on NYE and personally i think it sounded much better than his new CT copy of his main 4...

From what ive been told the bridge was called " the claw " and was a factory made Fender part during the early 80's. Ive never seen any others except for this and one on my other bass. I'd say it only weighs about a pound. lool It is solid brass though. ive had the bridge off and the bass...

Yes you would go from the positive feed on the battery & the ground on the stereo output jack. . I know nothing about electronics,, this is all a learning experience :B
