Short range bass (2 string basses)????

I own an Atlansia 2 string bass an have played it for 2 years now
I mostly play punk rock and don not need more than 2 strings for most songs. I allso have a DIY 1-string and a Crappy 3-string Are making a 2 string for my kid right now.

Good bassist only need 2 strings, the others need more ;) Just joking, but I love my 2 string Atlansia stealth bass!

Cheers
Tore

Ok to most this is probably the most ugly piece of musical equipment ever! and rightfully so... it nowhere near finished yet but it sounds fantastic

It used to be a Squier affinity, now its my Mark Sandman Sh*t Stick 2.5
it needs alot of work, but play it with a glass slide and you got the perfect dound. Tuned to a fifth .. A E will probably switch to D A

I have come across a couple of homemade 2 string basses on line and never thought much about it but now i have have seen some production 2 string basses. So whats the the opinion on 2 string basses?I think they are neat and tuned E A i could do everything i need to play.Would be all over fret board but i could do it!Also such a slim neck seeems like it would be so nice to play:)

i know nothing about minimum- string basses with the exception of the Krappy stuff, but I love the way the split P-pickup is used as two seperate PUs for your bass - I imagine its still wired in its original form? Anyway, thats a great idea
