    What should I get that's the most cost effective?

    I have been playing for about 3 years now and a few of the bands I'm in are about to start gigging, but with my current gear (A Carvin B40 and a 100 watt Crate keyboard amp) I am unable to modify the sound of my instrument very much. I think that a multi-effects pedal might solve this problem...

    $1100

    I suggest that you check out the Carvin B40 or B50. I recently ordered a B40 that cost me just under $1100 and it is the best instrument I have ever owned.

    What is your dream bass?

    A Carvin B40 with a walnut body, maple neck, ebony fretboard, and active/passive electronics. I just ordred it in May. :-)
