I have had Fralin's in a re-issue Jazz and I have a Fralin P in my Precision. Great pickups, IMO - very impressed with them! Looking into doing a project Fretless, with a Jazz Body. Possibly will go with the Fralin's? BUT, I found Ben's Pickups on eBay, and he sells a 60's Vintage set for $85...

Bought a 2012 Black JC Epiphone a couple of weeks before Christmas. A little TLC and Thomastik Flats, and it plays and sounds GREAT! Always been a Fender Forever Man, but ........!

Looks Great! I picked one up , also in Black, between Thanksgiving and Christmas. I've always been a "Fender Man", but I'm really happy with the JC Epiphone.

Allan, A Leather Strap-often the cheaper ones, work well. They are unfinished/rough on the 'inside'. Years ago I 'roughed up' a vinyl strap for my Precision. It helped....(still have Rockin' the Fillmore on Vinyl, btw)

I've always played Fenders, but I picked up a used Casady thru Reverb for $500 w/case. Love it, $599 for a new one is a great price.
