Was playing into a mic with mixed results just put a K & K Bass Max on..plugged into the Sound board.. now deciding if I need to add a preamp.. any advice?

Nice! Got mine back turns out the amp is fine..battery compartment on the bass needed fixin, and as I I suspected the input jack was bad. Sounds good now.

getting to it.. brought it up to my other repair guy..better but longer distance... We think one problem is in the guitar battery compartment. Thats the big one.. He also thinks he hears a problem stating in the amp speaker... Going to check it out and if so will probably replace the speaker...
