I played the new kay thing on saturday... and it sounded alright, but the strings didn't stay on the bridge. I don't consider myself someone who plays especially hard either.

Thank you. Neither actually, the finish is actually 7 layers of waterlox tinted with paint. So I just had some lint free rags, and I rubbed it all on. It was actually a lot easier than I thought it would be, but it was a little streaky if your not being careful.
