Hollow Body Basses

I just had the opportunity for try a club bass. I sounded great, but I was surprised about how small it really was. Im not sure I can get past that. It felt like a toy. Maybe I am just not used to it.

I just came across veillette archtop basses. which are beautiful. Any other boutique/custom hollow or semi hollow basses I should know about? even if they might be a bit out of my price range?

I thought that it would come home in... orange, since the Eastwood site offers "walnut, white or orange" and that last is what I ordered directly from them (check their site) and waited for: an orange bass with chrome hardware; instead came this beautiful reddish axe with luxury golden hardware!!! It plays absolutely good: aggressive and versatile. The spacing is a bit tight, but it growls with much authority and it is sooo beautiful!!! Happiness at home: my Stylist B1 now has a little brother to share the stand with!!! :-) V.

I know BaCH, a Czech company, is working on EB2 copy. Both short and normal scale! :hyper:
I think they are working on preventing neckdive. I have been chatting a bit with the guy in the vid below.

Here is demo with a prototype:


I have so far played two guitars and one bass from BaCH and I really think they rocked!:bassist:
And the prices are very nice ;)
