How about copper hardware? Actually, I am making a high copper, bronze allow bridge for my school shop project. I'm not going to even try to make the tuners out of this, though. I doubt that it ( the alloy) could stand up to the torque.

It really sucks for me because I use 5 string flatwounds for my fretless, which guitar stores never carry. But they aren't too hard to find online. They don't cost too much either.

Did it interfere with loading the strings, or was yours a string through?

Has anybody ever inset a bridge into the body to try to lower the string action? I've recently copleteted my first build which turned out great, but it's action is a little high and there is not much I can do. (It is a neck through). Thank you for any comments.
