My 1st build.

I just begain my 1st build for my 15th birthday. I orderd the neck off warmoth because i didnt want to take any chances. the body is made of spalted maple and I think im going to buy a darkstar pickup 4 it. ill keap posting picture of my progress as time goes on.

Hi,
Congatulations on starting your first build. I have just recently finished my first build and I am 17. It is exciting to see that someone else is trying this out around my age. I too was concerned about the neck, but I decided to try it out anyway and it turned out fine. I built a neck through which I believe made my life a lot easier. I would like to hear about your body style and wood. Pictures would be nice if possible and I can post a few of my own if you want. I am starting my second build now and am excited to see how yours turns out. Good luck.

the easiest way to get pictures up i've found is to just put them on photobucket. then you just copy the IMG code and paste it on the forums and voila!

I'd also like to congratulate you on your first build and agree with Bvjallen6 that it is exciting to see someone else about my age building. I'm also 17 and have built several basses in the past few years. I'm excited to see what you come up with. Best of luck to you.
