No degradation at all, I'm absolutely delighted that £24.00 can sort this problem out! Quite a few different companies make them, I just went for the cheapest as it was an experiment and the Amazon reviews were terrific.

I've had an SVP Pro for a few months and resigned myself to the humming. I was on the verge of getting rid of it. I bought a cheap Behringer HD400 Hum Destroyer from Amazon, inserted in between the SVP and amp. It worked! Totally quiet and I mean totally! Just thought I'd share this in...

OK, after gluing, I bought some wadding from an upholster's and stapled a 3" thickness to the inside of cab, apart from front face and leaving a hole at the rear. What an improvement - it doesnt rattle any more, it seems louder and tighter. A different beast. Thank you again for you advice.

All joints have been very solidly glued (drying at the moment), I'm going to buy some more battling tomorrow. Question: Heavy dense battling or deeper softer batting (like attic insulation)? Thanks for advice - I'll let youi know how it worked out.

That got it off. Thank you. The cab looks very well glued, so I just tried the foam tape gasket tip. That didn't stop the rattle when playing certain notes on the E and A strings - so I'll try adding more glue.

Hello, Apologies for the resurrection. I've just bought a used BA112 for a stage monitor and love the tone, but I want to cure the rattle. Could you explain the best way to pull off the grill please? I don't want to damage anything (too much!). Thank you, Chris

Thanks very much for this info, a huge help. I also thought I had a flawed unit! The head is perfect in every other way, but that volume boost at 9 o'clock does cause problems. I appreciate the time youve taken putting this info together.

Does anyone have both VT and 10B? Would be really interested in your thoughts.

The 10B has several amp sims including Ampeg B-15, Bassman 100, SVT, TE AH600SMX, SWR SM-400. Plus a few other preamp tones. As I use these (and mainly the SVT sim) rather than the myriad effects this box offers, my question is, would the VT Bass Deluxe give me better tone than the Boss unit...
