I normally have the EQ set as Bass - 9, mid - 3, treble - 6 if that helps

Well for example, The Boss ODB-3, Its good at handling the low end (as you would expect) but it just seems when you engage the effect, it doesnt seem to add that much overdrive, more like annoying background noise around the bass sound. well from personal testing anyway
