    Peavey Foundation/Fender JP-90

    Hi, Which one do you think is best? They're both US made with a slim jazz neck. I have the opportunity to get a jp-90 for $325 or a foundation for $220(+tax/shipping). Or should I just wait for an opportunity on a precision lyte ... ? Thanks.

    Tell me if I'm overthinking it but I'm starting to think about assembling my one bass... I found a nice precision body (surf green) to which I could add a Mighty Mite Jazz bass neck... Is it crazy ?

    I actually really like the sunburst MIM that jazzbassguy has (specially with a tort pick guard :D) and there is some used one GC for $270... I'm gonna go and try both CV and MIM tomorrow even though I might not see the differences because of my skills :atoz:

    I like them both but from what I've heard the MIM jazz bass can be a hit or miss and most of the time the CV are better.
