Peavey Foundation Mahogany + Rosewood ?

Hi,

Is there such a thing as a Peavey Foundation Mahogany with a Rosewood fretboard ?

I tried to look but I can't find any but this one.

Absolutely. Uncommon, but they do pop up from time to time. That particular bass has been bouncing from GC to GC for around a year.

Does this mean it is not a good one ?
I would like to get one but the natural finish are the only Foundation I like.

I just talked to someone on the phone about that bass. Lots of dings and marks, neck has a considerable bow in it. Price is a little high in that condition IMO.

How does a Fender jp-90 compare to a foundation ?

Most bowed necks can be straightened out with a truss rod adjustment. Presuming that's all it is.

I played this bass several months ago in a local GC. It was worn, but not excessively so. I don't recall a serious bow in the neck, but who knows what may have happened since.
