I find these statements interesting to digest..... How many "decent songs" does a band need in order to not suck? Or does non-sucking require more than just "decent" songs or a different measure altogether...?? I think this opens to the possibility that ALL bands suck... :smug:
Interesting conversation that will change not 1 opinion, LOL!!! My guess would be that Rush 'peaked' with Moving Pictures which was released in 1981 to technically not the 70's. I am a fan of both, but as a Canadian growing up in the 70's/80's Rush will always hold a soft spot.

For what it's worth..... :-) My playing abilities fall far beneath my equipment, so I will not comment on anything approaching experience and/or acoustics, etc.... What I will say is that I LOVE the little pockets on the top of my Ampeg cabinet and how the feet of my Ampeg amp fit precisely...
As per my anchor bolt 2 posts up.... (and actually what brought me to this thread lol), have installed my new Hercules clamp to a home-made wooden mount, which is mounted to drywall only, (no studs), with 2 of those bad boys..... it's been week+ with lots of on-and-off and no catastrophic...
I have used these types of anchors when drywall (not stud) is the only option... They technically aren't anchors, but a replacement bolt as well, and come in different lengths and diameters. If these pull out they will probably take most of the sheet with them.... :)

I play for fun, (not for revenue), so I leave when I'm no longer having fun. I am not super picky about what songs or genres we are playing, as long as a good time is being had. Someone being a constant d*ck is usually when the fun dies......
