    Double Bass Pickup ideas

    I've got a B-18n that I play my Jazz through. I just got an old Kay S-9, but I'm new to DB. Any ideas what pickups would go well with this old skool setup.

    cons of P/J ?

    I've been lurking for some time; I finally came up w/ a good question. Is there anything to loose with the P/J configuration? I am a huge Jamerson fan, but I also need a gospel growl, would I be missing anything from the Jazz neck PU? Thanks!
