    le Suire Avalanche Tube Amp

I could compare it with my SVT-CL Heritage (which shall be a little cleaner than a normal CL, what I like) and will replace the SVT by the Avalanche. The Overdrive character is a bit different, not worse or better, Avalance a bit „finer-grained“. I am happy with Le Suire.

Maybe the QC-Preamp, Yamaha Preamp or their headphone outs deliver minor quality. I‘ll order a Neve RNDI to feed the QC and Yamaha Mixer by the Headphone out to compare the diffent outs.

Thank you for your feedback. That puts me on the right track. I would like to emphasize that I appreciate the Kinetix, and the headphone output provides an even better sound experience than via DI/mixer. I would now like to convey this to the FOH in some way.

I have noticed that the sound via the Kinetix headphone output is richer and more detailed than via DI-Out (or effect-out) in Quad Cortex or in Yamaha Mixer and listened to there with headphones. Is this due to the input stages or headphone outputs in the QC or Yamaha mixing console, or is there...

All things EMG active! (And yes, the 9 vs 18v too)

I had tried the bass a few day ago. And the dealer as well as Fodera themself confirmed my experience with active PJ.

All things EMG active! (And yes, the 9 vs 18v too)

I intend to get a Fodera Yin Yang with active EMG P/J, but I noticed that the pickup blend does not allow any audible intermediate levels besides P100%, P/J 50/50% and J100%, it reacts more like a 3-way switch. Fodera exlained this with the impedance of the PUs. Would changing the original...

    Fodera Club Part XXVII

I also also own a Fodera with SDs with the pu-blend working will (although with a short effective control way).

When testing a Yin Yang P/J, I noticed that the pickup blend does not allow any audible intermediate levels besides P100%, P/J 50/50% and J100%. Is there a solution for this? (Is there a difference between the old standard preamp and the Trickfish version in this respect?)

Thanx a lot for all yours explanations. That‘s what I expected and tried to express with my initial question. 👌

So in this case 1-piece does not mean less building quality but better wood quality

I am thinking about getting a Monarch 4 used or new. As I see, in the past there have been some basses with a 1-piece neck instead of 3-piece. Does anybody has a comparison and/or know if the only reason for that was an economic one or e.g. a less advanced production process?

Hello everyone, I'm toying with the idea of buying a Monarch 4 YY or with dual coil after recently catching fire. But I'm wondering what neck widths the standards have, sometimes I read 40 sometimes 38 mm. The Monarch I played felt more like 40, and I prefer it slimmer. Are there different...

    Quad Cortex - Neural DSP

I found it out by myself: Going from Send 1 or Send 2 into my Glockenklang Bass Art Classic Preamp instead of using the the outputs, remains full tone and dynamic of the Glockenklang. The QC is now rescued.
