    Reverb for bass

Three posts for Nimbus in a row! I'm a massive Iron Ether fan, and my board is basically an Iron Ether board. Whenever I feel like I want to shake my board up and trade out some pedals, the Nimbus is the one that would always stay. It is such a great and versatile pedal with specific controls...

Empress vs. Cali 76 Compact Bass vs. Keeley Pro Compressor Help

I have the Keely Pro and I personally love it. The labels around the knobs along with the metering make it incredibly easy to dial in what you want and understand exactly what you're doing when playing with the knobs. I don't use the auto switch because I prefer the release knob to stay where I...

Cleaned it up with some Velcro, some nicer patch cables, mounted the power supply, and a new compressor since I first uploaded mine. I've got space for one or two more and its bugging me. Tuner>compressor>subterranea>rat king>xerographD>polytope>nimbus>sansamp programmable driver

I do the same thing. That nimbus and the xeroD in the shop right now look pretty cool and I have both already :(

What effects do you use for an indie band?

My synth pedal gets the most action in my band which sounds similar to the description of your music. Also use some light overdrive tube sounds with my sansamp DI and occasionally chorus but I don't use effects often besides my main tone on my sansamp and a compressor

You and me both. The oxide has been on my list for a while (okay let's be real every IE pedal is on my list) but having just bought three in the past three weeks I feel that I must resist.

Right now I have compressor>sub>xeroD>polytope>sansampDI I'm assuming the nimbus will go right after the polytope and if I put my fuzz back on the board or a new distortion it will either go right before or right after the xeroD. But I would seriously love to hear about other people's chains...
