    Ever since we went from 2 to 1 geetarists, and we went from bassgeetar to fully double bass I found my spot in the front. It feels easier for me to move when you find this obese viola by your side.

    I use Reason, a Soundcraft Signature mtk12 and an too old pc with too much ram and too much disk space. Somehow works perfectly. It's me and my 7yo's mancave 🤘

    My band surprised me by getting me a db behind my back. Always played fretted electric and occasionally fretless. I still love my electric bassguitars but find me playing the upright more often since it feels more connected to me.

    Problem with small cabs on small stages

    I use a tilt-stand every once in a while with my grbass 112. Coupling effects don't really bother me when there's sufficient PA. On the other hand: when there's sufficient monitoring I don't have to tilt my cab!

    most universal preamp?

    Try the GRBass amps. They got the pure-amps or the One-series. Very clean though punchy. One-amps can set to "pure" aswell so the preamp can be totally bypassed.

    An 1983 MIJ Aria ProII RSB standard into a Laney PL100 Bass Combo. After that got me a Korean SR 300 DX en got me an Ampeg B3-115.
