That's kind of my point. If it's parallel then it's not 4 cabinets unless the other cab is 16 ohms (unlikely). If it is serial, then it's infinite. I don't understand where this Invalid Link Removed comes from.

The Invalid Link Removed says it's "capable of driving up to FOUR Trace Pro cabinets per unit". We haven't seen the 2x12, so either that's a 16 ohm cabinet, or there's a mistake somewhere in their specs. It's unlikely a mistake in the amp's minimum load though as there is a 4 ohm limit printed...

Personally I wouldn't buy two Doubleshots. A gig that is louder than one Doubleshot can serve is a gig where AI's vaunted acoustic fidelity is much less important and I can get cabinets that can go louder, for cheaper, and at a higher impedance. The 30lb may be harder to achieve, but it's not...
