If I were you I’d check the jack. Another rare malfunction is either the volume or blend is overtightened and it shorts with the shielding.

I was wondering do you use gloves for both hands? Or just the fretting hand? I have the same issue and began wearing the glove. Funnily I like it.

Well I have some experience with mods and it required less than 1mm widening. So you can’t tell something was done to it. Mine are J55J-19. Fender 5 string size. I tried it on a Fender US Deluxe. Still wouldn’t fit.

I had the same issue in my Lakland. The neck fit perfectly but the bridge not even… I used my Dremel to slightly enlarge the ear routes. Every other pickup I ‘ve tried fit easily without mods.

The Seymour Duncan ASB Phase 1 are very close in design and rather close in tone. Reverse p coils low impedance with built in preamp. All stock Bart's I've tried are very congested in comparison.
