I think that you have a further stacked knob because your Bongo has a piezo bridge. I also have an HS Bongo , controls are the same as brusselsbass Bongo.

Oh, sorry, didn 't introduce myself... I'm living in Germany and I'm playing Musicman basses until I have the money to buy them :D Wanted to have a Cutlass but here in Germany they were very expensive, so I waited and waited and waited...and at least they were dicontinued. But last year I found...

On my Cutlass one pickup is angled a little bit backward...who cares ;) ...

I think Mr Ball meant a Bongo with basswood body...these Bongos with mahogany body seem to work with maple neck...(hope so ;-) )

I only played stingrays the last years -until I saw the PDN 2012 Bongos...now I play Stingray and Bongo :D, great bass , very light weight and versatile.
