You're trading something you know you love for a crapshoot - they're good basses but who knows if you'll vibe with this one. The values don't really matter at that point. A bird in hand is better than two in the tree.

I just sold my #3. I could sell my #2 but it's a parts bass and I'd get pretty little for it. I don't feel like parting it out right now, but maybe soon. I could easily have 1. Two is reasonable but beyond that it just feels like needless stockpiling.
