I have a Gibson SG bass that I took the stock mudbucker out of to replace a while back. Then I moved, and I've finally pulled out the SG to finish the project. However, I've lost the stock pickup and mounting screws. Anyone know what size screws are normally used for these?

I've seen that sort of "dirty" looking grain once before, and that was on a Saga P-Bass kit. Not saying this was a kit-build counterfeit, but the look of the wood was the first thing that caught my eye.

Will the glossy area stay glossy after the tape's on it? Maybe because it's not fully cured pulling the tape off will dull it. I haven't done this with nitro, but I did have a recently shellacked piece get dull after I used some masking tape to protect parts from a screwdriver.
