Eden WTB400 service manual/schematic needed for repair

Dear Bass brothers, First of all happy new year. It's been a while since I've been on this forum. Bought a house that needed serious improvement, got a kid and than the pandemic hit. But I digress. In the corner of my studio sits my Eden WTB400, defective and collecting dust. The amp works...

Tricked Out Squier Club Part 3

Those kits are OK but I would suggest getting the loose stuff from 1 retailer. I would go for CTS pots. With pots you should mind the taper (linear or logarithmic). And the shafts. It will be smooth or ribbed depending on your knobs. Being it's a Squier you probably need ribbed. If you need new...

    Eden WT-500 circuit modifications/improvements

I understand, and I take most of those sites and advice with a grain of salt. I do not believe there is a holy grail that you can hear clearly. I just wanted to try to shape the sound to my wish. I like a more smoother HiFi sound. Looking for some butter if you will. I felt the JRC072 could do...

    Squier Precision 5-String Club

I will answer this again as it has allready been answered multiple times. The Squier Precision V standard is a 5 string precision bass with two 4 string sized jazz style pickups. A volume/volume/tone setup. Some say the neck pickup is split coil and the bridge is single coil but I cannot...

    Eden WT-500 circuit modifications/improvements

I have found a NEC2501a Optocoupler on the power suply. Could be used as a regulator or part of a regulator circuit?

    Eden WT-500 circuit modifications/improvements

I was wondering what would be best to decouple. 1 cap rail to rail? or two caps from + to ground and 1 from - to ground? i have read that it depends on the opamp used. but i am not sure.

    G&L Club Part 7

Looks awesome. Love the color. You could always try to get the dings out with a damp cloth and a hot iron. After that a good polish with mineral oil and/ wax in case the steam might have did something to that which I dont think.

    Eden WT-500 circuit modifications/improvements

I guess i'm lucky because all the Q's in the preamp stage look like small regulators. 5 on the input side and 2 in the headphone/output side. I'm going to use WIMA FKP caps for the signal path. From what i have read and seen on various fora is plethora of different caps for decoupling. A lot of...

Bridge won't compensate enough; 12th fret about 10% sharp.

Is it a new bass or a second hand one? Does it have an aftermarket bridge? A Badass V perhaps? Because the badass bridge is not a drop in replacement for a fender mount. The holes are a cm forward. Other thing that could be is that you have to start intonating form one end of the bridge to the...

    Eden WT-500 circuit modifications/improvements

Makes sense. I am going to try to buy these adapters. Although i have ordered standard dip sockets and not the precisions i am unable to see if that will fit. or do i have to order the precision ones and solder those on instead? I am going to try to find a european source for these adapters...

    Eden WT-500 circuit modifications/improvements

Oh... And whats with the 2 ADA4627-1 per dip socket? I see that it is a SOIC8 format. how does one put 2 on there?

    Eden WT-500 circuit modifications/improvements

So it seems you have changed your opamp over the last couple of years to the ADA4627-1. Have you put this one in every place of your WT-500? I have ordered TL072, AD712 and OPA2134 allready. But i wil try these as well. Are the ADA4627 and OPA1642 not available in dip8 format? And could you send...

    Eden WT-500 circuit modifications/improvements

Not to stir up an old thread. But i could use some help on my chip replacement on my Eden WTB-400. It is a good sounding solid state amp but because it's the amp of an Nemesis RS320 i i'm going to make it more worth of the Eden badge by using better capacitors and chips. Capacitors i'm going to...

    Squier Precision 5-String Club

You could go with an overwound jazz pickup or a humbucker type jazz. Doesn't have to be nordstrand.

    G&L Club Part 7

It's a conundrum all right. I don't want you to make a decision you'll regret. But in my opinion; it's never a bad idea to have a 4 string in your arsenal. If you really don't want a 4 string then you should look at other brands. Fender are making a 5 string P now. So do some other brands.
