Squier Pbass special edition x Fender MIM

JaySeeDoubleYou Thanks a lot for your opinion. Do you think that the squier pickups are worse than fender pickups? In any case, to do a pickup upgrade is very simple, even I can do this, and the final price will remain lower than the price of MIM fender.

What do you think about Tonerider Jazz Plus-TRJ1 pickups?

I was lookink for cheap pickups to upgrade my sx sjb'75 and found these tonerider pickups. For me is very difficult to buy a set of seymour duncan, emg or fender because these brands are too expensive in Brazil. I need cheap but high quality pickups, and here the set of tonerider costs...

How big is the difference between 34" and 35" scale basses

The neck is a litle bigger but with the time you can adapt with them. It isn't hard to play - IMO the only disadvantage are the more tense strings.

Is There Something Special About Old Stingray 5s?

You're right - not all available information is reliable, but I know how to filter these information. I'm asking this because according EB website the sr and sterling models is made of "Selected Hardwoods" but they don't tell what wood is hardwood.

Is There Something Special About Old Stingray 5s?

They're using cheaper wood in sr models too? I know that sub is made of polpar and bongo have a basswood body, but i don't know too much about the SR woods. Some of them seem to be made of alder, other of ash.

What is the Most $$$ You Could Ever See Yourself Spending on a Bass?

You're so lucky! I'm brazilian and to buy a new eb mm sting ray 5 I need to spent something arround U$3500! It is the highest price that I can spent with basses. But not in a single bass - I prefer a 2 $1500 basses and $500 amp.

    Basses with f-holes

I never played a artcore or take one in my hands to look to bridge details. Which are the adjustments? Height and intonation for each string?

    Basses with f-holes

Beautiful bass... How about the tone? Looking to your pics I see that the bridge seems to have no height or entonation adjustments. Is it a problem for this bass?

    Essex Bass Guitars [Part 3]

The sound will be better after change pots? My doubt is if good quality pots which can let the sound pass freely, without any interference can give me a better tone.
