What do you think about Tonerider Jazz Plus-TRJ1 pickups?

I was lookink for cheap pickups to upgrade my sx sjb'75 and found these tonerider pickups. For me is very difficult to buy a set of seymour duncan, emg or fender because these brands are too expensive in Brazil.

I need cheap but high quality pickups, and here the set of tonerider costs 150USD while a seymour duncan quarter pound J set worth 220USD.

So, what you can say about these pickups? I tried to search some comments at harmony central but I found nothing about these bass pickups.

No familiarity with Toneriders but you can get basically any pup set you want off ebay used for $150 - most them of them for half that or. Just look for international shipping. At that price I'd look into new pups from vendors that ship internationally as well.

I use Tonerider Jazz Plus-TRJ1 in my MIM J-bass and all I can say is that they are bloody awesome! If you are looking for bang for your buck (and I read you do) go for Toneriders. You won’t be disappointed. Especially if you’re not used to high prized boutique stuff (like me), the Toneriders will rock your socks off.

I've found that the Tonriders are by far the best pick ups for the money on the market. $150.00 is super expensive for them. They should sell for around $80.00 for the pair. I've ABed them next to the single coil Fralins, Nordstrands and the Antiquity IIs and we had about 8 people listening and thought the Toneriders sound every bit as good, if not better than the others.
