The neck on that bass was a bit deeper than I like. The black classic bass felt better to me so I have always played it in preference. The 5 was for variety (and a challenge as I hadn't owned one before).

I have noticed with all guitar players ever - if they need to turn down, the knob is turned anti-clockwise by an amount that can't be seen by the human eye - if they need to turn up it seems to be quarter turns each time...

I did fall asleep in the middle of a gig once - much younger, boozy gig followed by boozy band dinner followed by boozy second gig, about half way through it all got a bit too much for me... I should mention, the rest of the band did notice this.
