Sorry to bump a 9 year old thread, I'm sure things have come a long way since then but in 2010 I had a BC Rich Mockingbird Heritage Classic. It sounded AMAZING, almost like a grand piano, out of any bass I've owned (including Spectors, Ibanez and Warwicks) it blew them all out of the water...

I don't see any problem with the headstocks, I think they look good as they are on their respective basses. Maybe they were just experimenting? It looked well

when I clicked into this I made a s*xual noise. I dont ever do that over basses. pity about the price though, way beyond my league!
