I like both, but I feel like when I'm using an active bass I'm usually messing with the EQ until I get it to sound as passive as possible. I like the EQ options, but I find myself using mellower strings on my Ibanez SRX because I feel like the treble EQ isn't as effective as a passive tone...

that thing sounds great! is it stock or what?? other than the strings of course. i've always heard mixed reviews about how those longhorns sound. i guess you're happy with yours??

okay guys i wanna get rid of my t-40 for something else. i know it's a good bass, i DO like it, but it's just not for me. the neck is way too big for my girl-sized hands, and i really prefer a bass that isn't so damn bright. i wont lie, this thing is in "fair" condition. it aint pretty...
