    DR Red Devils

    I bought a set of DR Red Devils, since Geezer uses DR. They look awesome on my new Lakland p/j bass. However the G string is dead out of the box:( Installed my favorite strings GHS M3050 medium flats, they sound great:)

    It is great to have so much info on this nice little bass. But, reading through it all is so time consuming. Would be nice to have separate threads for each mod, pickups, machine heads, strings, bridge, etc... Since my Mikro arrived yesterday with a non working J pickup, I am very interested...

    Yes, second knob does absolutely nothing. I opened the back cover to access the pots and wiring very carefully. No broken wires visible. I guess the bridge pickup is just dead and I will have to return it.

    Received my new Red Mikro from Musicians Friends today. Question on the tone knobs. My understanding is the first knob is the P pickup volume, the second knob is the J pickup volume and the third is for overall tone, is this correct? Unfortunately, on mine the second knob is not doing a thing???

    Part 3 Mesaboogie U tube video states their 810 has scooped mids. Wouldn't this make it a bad choice for the STM-900 vs the Ampeg 810? Their 412 is interesting however?
