    Tell me about your under 1000 dollar bass that blows away most 3000+ boutique basses.

    Well due to a few extras, my Carvin totaled out at around $1,500 but even that's a great price when considering the sound, palyability and feel. It kicks all other boutique Jazz basses in the butt! All the rest are overpriced. IMO

    Carvin SB5000 / SB4000 Roll Call...Part 2!

    The Carvin SB series basses are the best USA made Jazz basses on the market now. Great construction, playability, sound and oh yeah GREAT PRICE. All others are OK but seriously overpriced.

    Reed James Engineering

    I want to thank Reed James for making such wonderful vintage style Jazz Pickups for my Elrick Evolution. Now the bass is a true modern/classic. Looks new sounds vintage.
